Rat Gnaw Damage

If you have spotted any of these signs, contact us now as the situation will only get worse over time.

Where in your home or business should you start checking for the signs of Rats, their nests and damage they can cause?

Rats are agile climbers, who can jump, gnaw and burrow.

You can often find Rats within the loft space or walls of the house have entered through damaged drains or a hole within the properties foundations.

Outside Rats can make their presence known in many ways, especially if you are presenting them with the golden three, Food, Harbourage and Water.

Rats are very opportunistic.

Can I treat Rats Myself?

Realistically yes, as long as you are able to understand their behaviour, which is no easy task.

Rats exhibit a rather severe reaction to anything new in their environment which can make trapping very difficult for the amateur.

Non professional use Rodenticides are considerably weaker than their professional counterparts, often inducing bait shyness which can cause a real issue with effective control and therefore seriously prolonging treatment time, they are also expensive in comparison to value.

It is an offence for an amateur to obtain or use professional strength Rodenticides.

Leave it to us.

Absolutely. While DIY pest control treatments may appear effective at first, the general public do not have access to the most effective equipment , in fact DIY treatments usually end up causing more damage and never fully resolve the issue, often at a far higher cost than it would have been to hire a professional. Attempting DIY pest control also places you at a much higher risk of injury or contracting disease, its a false economy.
